Happy Ramadan to all my family, friends and to anyone who practices during this holy month. This is the month where Muslims fast (including water) from sunrise to sunset. It is believed that God revealed the first verses of the Quran to the prophet Mohammed (PBUH,) during this month.
Ramadan helps people practice self disciple, self control, empathy & sacrifice. It is also encouraged that people help the less fortunate with actions of generosity and charity which is also known as "Zakat."

Windy days like today has me feeling like mint tea! Did you know mint tea is a popular berevage drank in such North African countries such as: Algeria, Morocco & Tunisia?

This Lebanese/American wedding had some traditions

This Lebanese/American wedding had some traditions that were important to the bride & her family. In this photo, the grooms family & close friends came to the bride's house to take her to her car which was waiting for her at the end of the driveway (she had a long driveway!) to go to the church. The bride's father also accompanied her. She had a traditional #zaffeh group with drums & outfits to help bring out the cultural feel. #multiculturalweddingplanner
